This project consisted of two large open-plan rooms which the owners were unsure how best to utilize.  ElevenTwoEleven Design created two integrated spaces: a more sophisticated living room and formal dining room; and in the second space, a more casual family room and “daily dining” eat-in kitchen area.  Striving to make both areas welcoming, comfortable, and cohesive, ElevenTwoEleven Design chose playful multicolored Capri area rugs to link the two rooms.  Drawing from the colors seen in the rugs, pale blue accent chairs, upholstered kitchen chairs, and the soft neutral cream color for the living room couch were chosen.
